Surrendered to us from ACCT Philly with a severely broken leg, Lumie went through immense pain before her rescue. Unfortunately, her leg could not be saved and was amputated, but this spirited girl did not let that slow her down. She adapted quickly to her new life on three legs and embraces her puppyhood with joy. Lumie is sweet, affectionate, and playful, thriving in the company of both dogs and cats. Playtime is her favorite, but she also loves to curl up and snuggle when it's time to wind down. She sleeps well in her open X-pen at night and is making good progress with her potty training when taken outside regularly. A small voice accompanies her big personality; she enjoys expressing herself, making an apartment setting less than ideal.
