Meet Journey! Journey is a beautiful young girl, estimated to be about 9 months old, with a striking black-and-white coat and a Shepherd/Heeler mix heritage. Right now, the shelter is a scary place for Journey. She is frightened and guarded, but she is not mean. She simply needs someone willing to give her the time and patience she needs to feel safe. At only 9 months old, Journey has so much life ahead of her. She's still a puppy in many ways and deserves the chance to learn that people can be kind and that she has nothing to fear. Journey will need a patient home willing to let her build trust at her own pace, without pressure or expectations. The girl we see today may look very different once she feels safe and loved. Journey is not yet spayed, but she is looking for someone who will give her the fresh start she deserves. Her name is Journey for a reason. Her story is just beginning, and we hope the next stop is HOME.
