Sunni is a special case and looking for a foster to adopt home! She’s part of a Dachshund mix group rescued from a difficult situation and is still on her journey to recovery. Currently, Sunni is scheduled for important vetting on October 2nd, which includes spaying, microchipping, and vaccinations. It’s vital that this appointment is kept, as it marks a step toward a healthier future for her. As for her personality, Sunni is still very shut down and understandably wary of people after her past experiences. Building trust will take time, so she needs a lot of patience and love. At this stage, she isn’t able to walk on a leash or use a collar comfortably and is currently utilizing potty pads indoors. Since she may try to escape, it’s crucial to keep her secure until she feels more settled. Children should be respectful of her space, and she would benefit from the companionship of another friendly dog in the home.
