About Leo
Meet Leo, affectionately known as Chungus, Chungie, Gooby, and Little Big Man. This charming 6-year-old Shih Tzu Jack Russell mix weighs around 30 pounds and boasts a big personality. Leo loves lounging in the yard and keeping watch over the neighborhood. Cuddly and food motivated, he thrives on training and is eager to please, making him an excellent companion for someone who enjoys helping their dog learn. Leo is friendly with strangers and has been a hit at doggy daycare. He gets along with other dogs after proper introductions. During walks, he can be vocal, especially if he spots people or other animals, so his new family should offer a little guidance when he gets excited. Recent changes in his life, including a move and the arrival of a new baby, have been a bit overwhelming for him. Consequently, Leo is looking for a home without young children, although older kids (around 12 and up) have been fine. He may have some accidents in the house during the adjustment period, so a consistent routine and patience will help him settle in. A fenced yard where he can supervise the area is ideal for Leo. His perfect family will provide love, stability, and continued training. Leo is ready for a fresh start in a loving home. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
