About Bergan
Bergan is a big, sweet Lab mix, around 6 to 7 years old, who's all about cuddles and snacks. This gentle girl is house trained and crate trained, making her a pawsome companion to have around. She's very much a socialite, always wanting to be with her people, and she's mastered an adorable trick: when you stop petting her, she gently hands you her paw, as if asking for more affection. Though she's a bit on the heavier side, Bergan is starting her weight loss journey to help alleviate some stiffness in her back end. Regular, gentle exercise and a healthy diet will be key. She recently met a toddler and handled it with grace, displaying calmness and gentleness. Dog-friendly and with a strong personality, she thrives as an only dog or with a submissive buddy who won’t challenge her authority. We haven't introduced Bergan to cats yet, so that remains a consideration. Bergan is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. A dental procedure will take place prior to her adoption. Please note, her adoption fee is $300, and interested adopters can apply through K9 Kindness Rescue, Inc. Remember, she needs to meet her new family within 175 miles of the Quad Cities.
