About Sunny

Sunny is a 2-year-old boy with a heart full of love. He almost faced euthanasia before Huey's Rescue stepped in to save him, and his transformation has been remarkable. Initially terrified in his foster home, Sunny quickly learned he was safe and has turned into an affectionate companion. Now, Sunny thrives on attention and enjoys nothing more than curling up in someone's lap. If you pause your pets, he’ll give you a little meow to remind you he’s still in need of affection. He’s a people-oriented cat and prefers a home where someone can devote time to him. Although he’s affectionate now, he may need a bit of time to adjust to a new environment. His foster family has seen how patience can bring him out of his shell, and he deserves an adopter who offers the same understanding. Sunny is FIV-positive, but this doesn’t mean he can’t have a happy, healthy life. He can thrive well into old age, especially with the right care. Since we’re uncertain about his feelings towards other cats, it might be best for him to be the only cat in the household or with another FIV-positive friend.
