Meet Sage and Sable. This bonded mother-daughter pair of Anatolian Shepherds is looking for a forever home together. Sable, the calm 7-year-old mama, enjoys her downtime, while her 2-year-old daughter Sage is full of youthful energy and loves to follow you everywhere. Both girls are house trained, walk well on a leash, and have affectionate personalities. They adore snuggles and will let you know when they crave a little extra attention by offering a gentle paw. While Sable tends to be more independent, Sage thrives on companionship. Kid-friendly and dog-friendly, they do have a playful side when it comes to chasing squirrels, though their interaction with small animals is unknown. These two enjoy the outdoors but also appreciate the comfort of air-conditioning. Currently heartworm positive, they are set to receive treatment through the rescue, necessitating a local adopter who can help facilitate their care. A fenced yard is ideal for this exploring duo, but they will need to be leashed outside otherwise. These girls are currently fostered in St. Petersburg, and the rescue will cover all medical needs.
