About Metro
Metro is a 47 lb. neutered male mixed breed, about 3 years old. This sweet boy might need a little time to adjust, but once he feels secure, his affectionate personality shines through. After a brief exploration of the yard, he approached for some pets, accepting treats with a gentle nudge. He even sits nicely for them! Initially hesitant, he soon relaxed, making the sweetest transformation. Settling between my legs, he let his guard down, stretched out, and offered his belly for rubs, letting out a big sigh of relief as if he realized he was safe. He even sneaked in a couple of gentle kisses. While he's still figuring out toys, he clearly enjoys closeness with people. He walks well on a leash with minimal pulling, best suited for someone willing to take things slow and help him gain confidence. Metro has the potential to be a wonderful companion once he feels at home. He seems non-reactive to dogs nearby and may do well with a fur sibling after a slow introduction. To adopt, please visit us at 1431 E Ferry St. Detroit. Be sure to bring all family members, but leave your current pets at home. Metro is ready to find his forever home.
