With some time to adapt to a new environment, she's calm, mobile, and independent, though a few occasional bumps into things may happen. A predictable, quiet home with minimal stairs would be her ideal setting, where you can ensure a consistent furniture layout to boost her confidence. Apricot enjoys short, sniff-filled walks, lounging in sunbeams, and basking in companionship. While she does bark at first when crated, she’s working on her crate training. With polite and respectful dogs, she does wonderfully and even appreciates a cuddle buddy. Just a little patience will help her feel secure. As she learns the layout of her new home, this brave little girl becomes surprisingly self-reliant.
