Meet Blaze, a sweet 7-month-old boy who is still discovering his confidence. The shelter can be a bit overwhelming for him, but he’s doing his best. Blaze loves treats, enjoys exploring outside, and tends to stay close to his handlers. When outdoors, he shows more comfort and confidence, revealing his curious and playful nature. He might need some time to adjust to new situations, so a patient home that can introduce him to experiences at his own pace will be ideal. To help him thrive, positive reinforcement training is encouraged. Older children would suit him best, and everyone in the household should meet him before adoption. Blaze has been good with his littermates but is a bit unsure when meeting new dogs. A slow introduction would be important if he has a canine sibling. Like any young dog, he’s still learning about housetraining and how to navigate his environment.
