About Maximus

Meet Maximus, a large and loving Mastiff who is around 3.5 to 4 years old. He once faced a grim fate on the euthanasia list, but now he's ready to find a forever home where he can truly belong. Maximus is calm and cool, quite past the rambunctious puppy stage. He enjoys the company of female dogs, and while he hasn’t been tested with males yet, he's not dog-reactive. This big guy walks well on a leash and is easygoing. He's recently discovered that treats— like cow ears and bully sticks—are pretty fantastic! Older children would be the best match for him; his size could accidentally send a small child flying during play. Getting his cherry eye surgery soon will help him feel even better. This mature, affectionate boy is hoping for a family to love. Maximus could be that gentle giant you’ve been searching for! Click apply to start the adoption process.
