About Velvet
Velvet is a charming 7-year-old female tuxedo cat with a distinctive white eyebrow. This friendly and vocal girl has quite an appetite and often reminds you when itβs mealtime. She enjoys her treats and is particularly fond of canned food, while kibble is just a light snack for her. Playtime is also high on her list of priorities; you'll catch her having fun with catnip toys and wiggly dangly toys. With a short coat, Velvet loves to nap on towels and snuggle up by your legs at night, purring softly as she settles in. She would prefer to be your one and only feline companion, as she feels most comfortable in a home without other cats. While she interacts well with the foster's cats, she has shown some concern around young children. Dogs are a mystery to her. Due to her specific dietary needs, Velvet is currently on a prescription urinary food and anti-anxiety medication. Any potential adopter should be prepared to continue both treatments under veterinary supervision. Velvet arrives spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated, ready to be your indoor companion. Your journey with her can start today!
