About Peco

Meet Peco! This handsome orange boy is on the lookout for a special forever home. He’s still learning to trust people, so he needs a family ready to offer time, patience, and plenty of love to help him come out of his shell. Peco is a little unsure about being touched and might dodge away when someone tries to pet him. Quick on his feet, he will instinctively make a dash for it when feeling nervous. However, his cautious nature comes with a secret weapon: food! He has found a new friendship with Jasmine, and they would love to be adopted together. Peco thrives in the company of outgoing cats who can show him that people aren’t so scary. Being highly food motivated, treats and mealtime will be excellent for building trust and creating positive experiences with him. With a safe environment and plenty of yummy snacks, we’re hopeful that Peco will gain confidence over time and learn to embrace the love he deserves. While he may not rush for cuddles right away, those willing to invest time in Peco could find a truly rewarding companion. Peco is a neutered male kitten, microchipped, flea-free, worm-free, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines. He is also housetrained. He might even adapt well as a barn cat in the right environment. Are you the special person Peco has been waiting for? What are you waiting for? Apply today!
