About Stella

Meet Stella! This lively one-and-a-half-year-old Siberian Husky mix calls Trenton, NJ home. With her lightly golden coat adorned with beautiful white accents, she embodies a mix of intelligence, loyalty, and quiet confidence. Stella thrives in environments where her unique personality is both understood and respected. At about 55 pounds, Stella enjoys the simple pleasures—long walks, adventurous hikes, and playful tug-of-war. After a day filled with activities, she loves settling into her crate for a little downtime. Fully house-trained, crate-trained, spayed, and up to date with her vaccinations, she also has an impressive command list: sit, down, stay, heel, place—plus markers for recall. Stella has benefited from over six months of focused training at Greenleaf Pet Resort, resulting in her remarkable behavior around other dogs. She comes with lifetime professional training support from the same facility, ensuring her new adopters can access expert guidance throughout her life. While Stella is gentle and prefers communication through body language, she needs an experienced adult-only home that understands her need for positive reinforcement. She does not get along with cats or other dogs and requires a securely fenced yard for safety. Introductions to new people must be handled thoughtfully, as she has a history of feeling threatened when approached without consent. However, once trust is established, Stella shows affection by nudging for pets and cherishing quiet moments with her chosen humans. Managed through a carefully balanced veterinary diet, her current digestive concerns are under control, and she's equipped with full medical and behavioral records along with pet insurance. Stella is ready to find her forever home—a family that will appreciate her journey and support her growth. Ready to help Stella begin her next great adventure?
