About Tippy
Meet Tippy, our tiny but mighty guy! He’s one of five rescue puppies from a cruelty case and happens to be the smallest of the crew. When Tippy first arrived, there were worries about a potential neurological issue. He had a tendency to weave and wobble when excited, which initially raised some eyebrows.However, with lots of tender loving care, proper nutrition, and hydration, that concern seemed to melt away. Now, Tippy is thriving and embracing his puppyhood. He’s making great strides with house training, sticking to a schedule and often signaling when he needs to go outside by crying in his kennel. A reserved little fellow, he’s building his confidence day by day. Once comfortable, he adores snuggling up and his heart can easily be won over with treats, especially pig ears. Tippy loves to play with toys and wrestle with his puppy buddies. He would flourish in a forever home that has another confident dog to help him continue braving the world. He mostly ignores the cats around him, though he occasionally shows some curiosity. His walks may include a little game of "attack the leash," and he views ankles as fair game for a playful nibbler. That charming white-tipped tail of his? It’s how Tippy got his name! This little guy, while the smallest, is steadily becoming more confident, courageous, and puppy-like.
