About Oreo

Meet Oreo, a striking 5-year-old Labrador Retriever with the most adorably oversized paws. His sleek black coat, accented by a perfect white patch on his chest, gives him a unique look that invites attention and pets. Oreo needs a patient and experienced handler, ideally in an adults-only home, to help guide him to be his best self. He shows curiosity towards other dogs but can be reactive to Shepherds, so a calm small-to-medium canine companion with slow, thoughtful introductions would suit him well. Oreo is calm and attentive around people, happy to sit close to his owner. He’s easy on the leash, house trained, and knows basic commands like sit. With the right family, this lovable boy is sure to thrive and be a wonderful addition to a pet-savvy home. Oreo came to Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on August 8 due to landlord issues his previous family faced, not because of any fault of his own. He’ll need a standard round of shots before going home, but the shelter can assist with this. Will you be the one to help this big-hearted boy shine? Click apply to start the adoption process.
