About Reacher
Meet Reacher. This big boy is not just strong in stature but also has a heart full of love. He arrived at PAC from West Alton after a challenging journey, needing to be trapped for his safety. Initially, Reacher was fearful and unsure about people and his environment. However, with the patience and kindness of staff and volunteers, he has made remarkable strides in just a few weeks. Underneath that muscular frame is a sweet, gentle soul. Don’t let his size fool you—Reacher is very tender-hearted. He has recently started to enjoy the company of other dogs, participating in playgroup with a buddy named Otter. Reacher is still learning that the world can be a friendly place, and every day he takes small steps forward. Reacher has already demonstrated his resilience, and now he’s looking for someone to offer him the patience, love, and encouragement he needs to blossom into the confident dog we know he can be. This is your chance to meet Reacher and witness his journey firsthand at PAC!
