He thrives on being near his people, quietly settling in while you go about your day. Whether taking a nap or just listening to the world around him, Farraday enjoys sitting by the door and soaking up the sun. Farraday does have some vision limitations, primarily distinguishing light and dark. He relies on his keen hearing to navigate his surroundings, and it’s vital for him to hear you approaching to avoid being startled. A steady and predictable routine will help him feel relaxed and confident. Once he learns the layout of his environment, Farraday navigates well, handling stairs and curbs with ease. He enjoys exploring outdoors and walks politely on a leash, guided by your voice. His foster family takes him on mile-long evening walks, where he revels in the various sounds and smells, returning home happy and tired. Inside, he has a smaller area to explore as he learns household routines. Curiously, he rummaged through the toy basket on his second evening and is now learning to play and retrieve balls, especially enjoying crinkly toys.
