Wyatt is quite skittish initially, but once he chooses you, his loyalty knows no bounds. He relies on his trusted humans for guidance in new situations. Patience is key to helping him feel secure in his new surroundings. Walks are one of Wyatt's favorite pastimes. He does well on the leash and enjoys exploring the great outdoors with his human companion. Almost completely house trained, he’s established a comfortable routine in his foster home, even sleeping peacefully in his own bed beside his foster caregiver at night. Wyatt coexists harmoniously with other animals, including dogs, cats, chickens, and even ducks. While he enjoys their company, he’s not particularly keen on playtime. He prefers companionship to wrestling, communicating clearly when he needs his space. He struggles with crate anxiety, which can lead to stress, but does well when left uncrated alongside his foster's dogs. Because Wyatt has a tendency to escape, he will come with a tracker to ensure his safety. Future adopters must be vigilant about doors and outdoor areas, as he has shown an ability to dig under fences. Wyatt may take time to adjust to new experiences, but his loyalty and affection are worth the wait.
