About Athena

Meet Athena, a 2.5-year-old Chihuahua weighing just 6 pounds. Don’t be deceived by her tiny size; this little girl has a heart that can fill any room! Athena has endured challenges no dog should face. A previous head injury has left her with some permanent brain damage, giving her an adorable head tilt and a quirky gait. Thankfully, she’s seizure-free, and her unique traits only add to her charm. She thrives in the company of other dogs and seeks a peaceful, quiet home where she can feel secure. Initially shy, Athena takes her time to warm up, but once she trusts you, she delivers love wholeheartedly. She would do best in a home without small children, as her small size and gentle nature require a gentle touch. Her ideal adopter will be patient and understanding, ready to help her build confidence. Athena may do things differently, but her sweetness and loving spirit shine through. If you're looking for a tiny companion with a BIG heart, Athena is waiting for you. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
