Meet Venus! This lovely 6-year-old shepherd mix came to us from a rural shelter after being found as a stray. With her stunning brindle coat, Venus is not only beautiful but sweet and affectionate. She has a gentle demeanor, gets along well with other dogs, and walks nicely on a leash. Though initially a bit shy, she quickly warms up and loves to be held. In her foster home, Venus made friends with dogs, cats, and even horses. Her foster shared how smart and eager Venus is, noting that she’s housetrained and does well in a crate. While she’s a bit of a fence-climber, it seems more about her adventurous spirit than any troublemaking. Venus is loyal and ready to thrive in a family environment.
