About Sebastian
Meet Sebastian! Sebastian is a charming young German Shepherd. At just over a year old, he’s still finding his way in the world and beginning to reveal the wonderful dog hidden beneath the uncertainty of shelter life. During his first evaluation, he greeted his walker politely, leashed up easily, and calmly explored the shelter. While he may feel a bit unsure in new situations, he seeks reassurance from trusted humans and is easily redirected when needed. Sebastian happily wagged his tail and offered kisses to a volunteer, clearly enjoying some affection. This sweet boy already knows how to sit and shake. He loves to chase tennis balls and is a sucker for tummy rubs. He takes treats gently and walks nice on the leash. Sebastian has a classic German Shepherd vocalization when he wants to get noticed. Smart and eager to learn, he would thrive in a family that can help build his confidence as he adjusts to his new environment. Sebastian hasn’t been tested with other dogs or cats yet. As he continues to decompress, we’re excited to discover more about his personality. His best chapters are ahead of him, and we can’t wait to witness his blossoming confidence.
