About Sassy
Sassy is a 77 lb. spayed female mixed breed, approximately 5 years old. This sweet, cuddly girl has so much love to give and enjoys being near her people. She loves to sit beside you, soaking up pets and attention, and you might catch her adorable little leg moving when you find just the right spot for scratches. Sassy is food motivated and knows how to sit, taking treats gently. She has shown a little interest in toys and will likely reveal her playful side once she feels comfortable in a home. Although she struggled to relax during our time together at the shelter, she remained sweet and people-oriented. On leash, she has plenty of enthusiasm and will do best with someone who can help channel that energy. She may also do well living with another dog after proper introductions, as she seems non-reactive to dogs nearby. Keep in mind that the shelter environment can be stressful, so a decompression period of at least three days is recommended to help Sassy begin to show her true personality. Sheโs a lovable, affectionate girl, ready to blossom in her forever home. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and letโs get started.
