About Meadow
Meet Meadow. She's a large mixed-breed dog with a gentle spirit and a past that's part of who she is. When she arrived at the shelter in a live trap, her wariness of people was clear, stemming from experiences only she knows. Trust has been a slow, meaningful journey for her. It took weeks for her to feel comfortable enough to have her harness removed. Once she learned that being leashed could mean enjoyably exploring the outdoors rather than something scary, she began opening up to the idea that people might be trustworthy. Though still reserved, Meadow has made lovely progress. She may not rush up to greet you with enthusiasm, but those small steps she takes are significant milestones for her. Meadow seeks a quiet home with a patient person, someone who understands that building trust is a gradual process. She might never be the most outgoing dog, but in the right environment, with love and time, Meadow can blossom into a wonderful companion. If you're someone who values a slower pace and is willing to take the time to really listen, Meadow could be the perfect match for you. β€οΈ Click apply to start the adoption process.
