Meet Betty! This sweet Cane Corso is ready to find her forever home once again. Initially adopted from our shelter in March, she was recently returned because her previous owner found it challenging to manage her strong leash pulling and prey drive toward small dogs. Betty is described by her former family as being very friendly with both adults and children. She is house trained and prefers to be the only pet in the household. Given her prey drive, it's essential that she is in a home that can safely manage her strength and provide ongoing leash training. Though a bit timid at first with new people, once Betty settles into her environment, her gentle personality shines through. She quickly warms up and adores attention, being well-mannered and receptive to commands like sit. It’s clear she thrives in a patient and loving setting where she can build confidence as a valued companion.
