Meet Diva the Cutest. Diva is a lovely, approximately 2-year-old female cat with a gentle and affectionate spirit. She spent over a year living near a car parking area, where I cared for her and got to know her sweet personality. One of her charming quirks was jumping into my car to explore and receive affection. After a frightening five-day absence, Diva returned with a severe tail injury, likely from being hit by a car. Following surgery to remove her damaged tail and a spay procedure, she has been recovering well. While her wound has healed, she now requires assistance with urination and defecation due to nerve damage that may affect her bladder and bowel function. Potential adopters should anticipate some ongoing medical needs. Despite the challenges she’s faced, Diva's loving nature shines through. She is calm, trusting, and remarkably accepting of new experiences. She usually takes baths and accepts a leash without fuss. Each time she sees me, she rubs her face against my hand, a gesture that’s both heartbreaking and heartwarming. Diva thrives on individual attention, making it crucial for her to find a compassionate home, ideally as the only pet. Although she tolerates dogs, introductions should be managed slowly. Diva seeks an experienced and dedicated adopter who understands her medical needs. She should be kept as an indoor-only cat with someone who has the commitment and resources to support her ongoing care.
