Elmer is a charming 10- to 12-year-old Chihuahua in search of a loving home. This friendly little boy weighs just 10 lbs and is housebroken, enjoying life in a space with a yard or patio. He’s not just adorable; he's also great with older kids and gets along well with other small dogs. Currently in a foster home, he shares his space with cats and seems completely comfortable around them. Elmer is a happy-go-lucky little companion, loving his walks, although his heart murmur means he can only walk short distances. He’ll need to be carried or placed in a dog stroller for longer outings. Despite his medical challenges, he holds a positive spirit and enjoys snuggling on the couch. Found as a stray and nursed back to health, Elmer is neutered, vaccinated, and has had dental care. With a strong desire to bond, he’s truly a lover at heart.
