He's a bit of an introvert, taking his time to warm up to new people and situations. Instead of rushing in, Twix prefers to watch and assess before trusting someone. But once that trust is earned, he transforms into an affectionate companion who enjoys being close to his humans. This sweet boy thrives on gentle introductions; a crowded environment might overwhelm him. Twix shows great potential with female dogs, happily sharing space with a female named Prissy LaRue at the rescue. While he is more hesitant around unfamiliar male dogs, he can get along with calm males. Twix has not been tested with children but could do well with older kids who understand the importance of patience with a reserved dog. Although he hasn’t had full house training yet due to his rescue setting, he will benefit from a consistent routine in his new home. Twix is neutered, fully vaccinated, and generally easygoing, with a medium energy level. He enjoys some playtime but is also content to relax at home. His ideal adoptive family will appreciate his gentle nature and give him space, allowing him to reveal his affectionate personality at his own pace.
