About Wander

Wander is a quiet soul who has probably had a lot on his plate since arriving at the shelter. Previously, he lived in a home filled with cats, and he got along well with them. This gentle guy has only known one person, so the shelter environment feels overwhelming for him. He truly thrives in serene settings, especially ones that offer vertical spaces for him to watch his surroundings comfortably. Wander needs a patient and experienced adopter who can take things slow, allowing him to adjust at his own pace. Socialization will be important for him; rewarding small successes like eye contact or gentle petting will help build his confidence. He enjoys squeeze-up treats, which can be a good way to connect with him. With some time and love, Wander will start to feel secure and may become your affectionate companion. If you can offer him a calm haven, he might just blossom into a wonderful pet! Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and let's get started.
