Born around May 7, 2023, she arrived at Wild Blue Cats after being surrendered as a stray and needed time in foster care to gain confidence. Ruki is still a bit skittish and requires a patient, loving family to help her blossom. At first, she might hide or observe from a distance, but calm voices and gentle movements quickly help her feel secure. Once she recognizes she's safe, Ruki truly shines. She enjoys soft pets, especially chin and cheek scratches, and sometimes even curls up in trusted laps. Playtime is another favorite, as she's curious and energetic—wand toys, feathers, and shoelaces will certainly catch her attention! While she may not immediately be comfortable being held, her playful attitude and sweet purrs make her a joy to be around. Ruki would thrive in a home with gentle and understanding teenagers or another calm feline friend. She could even get along with a respectful dog if introductions are handled gently.
