About Sumo

Sumo is an independent little guy with some of the most striking eyes you'll ever see. His unique mix of brown in the center and blue surrounding it reflects his distinctive personality. While many kittens thrive in the company of their peers, Sumo is content to do his own thing. You'll often find him curled up for a solo nap or engaged with a toy he can play with all by himself. However, don’t mistake his independence for dullness. He has a playful side and occasionally becomes the life of the party, leaping into the fray for a good wrestling match before heading off on another solo adventure. Sumo can be a bit timid, so a little patience is key as he adjusts to new surroundings. Once he feels secure, his charming personality shines through. He seeks a home where he can truly be himself: a sweet, playful, and quietly introspective kitten who enjoys his own company but also knows how to join in on the fun. Sumo is currently in a foster home in Chattanooga, TN, and he’s available for transport to various locations within the continental United States. Note that adoptions cannot be made to residents of Massachusetts at this time. Think Sumo might be the one for you? Apply today!
