About Rad
Rad is ready for his forever family, and he comes with some specific preferences. At about 8 lbs, Rad has a charming mix that likely includes long-haired Chihuahua and dachshund traits. He thrives with other small, playful companions, as they help boost his confidence and provide fun times with games of chase and tug, followed by cozy cuddles. Rad is fine with feline roommates, but he prefers a home without kids. While respectful children aged 12+ could be okay, he’s not the type of dog to focus on for playtime for young ones. Shy by nature, Rad may take a couple of weeks to settle into his new surroundings. Initially, he’ll bark at newcomers and other dogs, but only briefly. This little guy needs a patient home that can give him the time he needs to grow comfortable with new people and routines. He enjoys outdoor play, is treat-motivated, responds well to "sit," and may eventually enjoy walks, although he’s currently too shy for that. Rad is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, current on preventatives, and heartworm negative. Ready to make Rad a part of your family? Click apply to start the adoption process.
