About Sequoia

Meet Sequoia! This lovely 2-year-old Boxer/Pit mix is a true survivor. She came into a high-intake shelter in Houston with seven tiny puppies in tow, having done her best to keep them healthy. Unfortunately, they all ended up on the euthanasia list, but thanks to a caring foster, Sequoia and her little ones got a second chance. Now, her puppy-raising days are behind her and Sequoia is ready to soak up all the love she can get. She's incredibly social, adores kids, and takes pride in making new friends. Additionally, she has been non-reactive around other dogs. Smart and food motivated, she rides well in the car too. Sequoia deserves a fresh start filled with love, cozy couches, and definitely no more puppies! Sequoia is currently in foster care in Fort Collins, Colorado, but note that we require adopters to come to Colorado for the adoption process. Your new best friend is just one click away.
