About Silas

Meet Silas! Silas is an enchanting black cat, notable for his striking appearance. In regular light, he appears as a classic beauty, but in the right light, a subtle shadow tabby undercoat reveals itself, adding an air of mystery. He exudes a wizardly vibe, embodying an old soul that seems to hide a few secrets. Once you break through his composed exterior, he surprises with his playful, goofy antics, like hopping atop his enclosure and meowing as if he has an important announcement before launching into a round of zoomies. Despite his size and mystique, Silas is a gentle giant who loves belly rubs and offers a purr that matches his frame. Meal times truly get him animated, giving way to an outgoing side that shines through once he feels completely at home. He enjoys being in laps, but as he settles in, he becomes the king of the castle, turning playful and mischievous. Silas is the most sensitive of his group, taking a little longer to adjust to new situations. He benefits from a calm environment, especially during stress-inducing events like vet visits. A patient caretaker who follows his foster mom's guidance will help him transition smoothly into a new home. Ideal for older, respectful children, and he would thrive best with a friendly feline companion, ideally Mira. Give Silas the time and understanding he needs, and he'll share his quiet magic with those lucky enough to welcome him into their lives. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and let’s get started.
