About Birdie

Meet Birdie! Birdie is a tiny senior lady, approximately 16 years old, with the sweetest little voice—she sounds just like a bird when she meows. This gentle and affectionate cat is looking for a loving forever home where she can enjoy a wonderfully spoiled retirement. After spending her entire life with the same owner, Birdie's world turned upside down when her human sadly passed away this spring. Thankfully, a compassionate friend of her late owner cared for Birdie through a tough time. When we found her, she was in much better shape than expected. Birdie had received excellent care, leading to her impressive recovery. She has undergone a complete dental cleaning and senior bloodwork, and aside from minor arthritis managed with gabapentin and early-stage kidney disease that requires ongoing monitoring, she’s doing remarkably well for her age. Birdie currently eats kidney-friendly diets available over the counter, which her adopter will need to maintain. All she asks for is a soft place to rest, gentle hands, abundant love, and plenty of tasty wet food. After everything she’s been through, this precious girl deserves to be completely adored. Could you offer Birdie the retirement she needs?
