At around 1.5 years old, this full-grown Sighthound/Saluki mix is fully vetted and ready to become part of a loving family. Sunny may be a bit skittish initially, but give him a little time, and his sweet personality will shine. Once he feels safe, he becomes affectionate and loves to be close, often giving sweet kisses. This gentle soul thinks he’s a lap dog, enjoying cozy lounging and playtime with his toys. Sunny thrives in homes with a secure, full-height fenced yard and would greatly benefit from daily walks—two would be ideal. Patience is key as he builds his confidence, and having another friendly dog around could be a wonderful bonus. He needs an understanding adopter who knows that Sighthounds can be a bit independent and may require a harness for safety. Though Sunny can be left alone for several hours without being destructive, he loves to chew, so plenty of toys are essential. He also has mild food resource guarding with other dogs, so separate feeding will be necessary.
