Lucas is a young, playful pup who thrives in the outdoors, endlessly chasing grasshoppers or balls. He's a social dog who loves to be near people, especially when they give him ear scratches. In his foster home, he's shown that he gets along beautifully with older children, dogs, and even cats, although he's still mastering the art of gentle play with them. While Lucas had a tough start, having to undergo an amputation for a badly injured rear leg, he's learning to navigate his new abilities. He's becoming more adept at handling stairs and uses a ramp with ease. He's also picking up on house training and is quickly learning to do his business outside. With his friendly demeanor and playful spirit, Lucas is ready to find a family that will love him just as he is. Think you can provide him with the loving home he deserves?
