Chase, a handsome 9.5-year-old black Labrador Retriever, weighs about 80 pounds and has a special passion for tennis balls. A game of fetch brings him immense joy, and his excitement is sure to put a smile on your face. Maci, an adorable 8.5-year-old Dachshund, tips the scales at just 13 pounds. Despite their size difference, they complement each other perfectly. Maci has a cheeky side, often hiding the tennis ball under a blanket when she thinks it’s time for a break. When she’s not overseeing ball games, she loves to snuggle up next to her favorite person. Both dogs are extremely affectionate and people-oriented, always wanting to be near their humans. They can be a bit insistent on receiving attention but are also learning to settle down nearby. Maci is making excellent progress in her house-training through a consistent routine, and with continued support from her future family, she'll thrive in her new environment. While Maci can be cautious around unfamiliar men, she quickly warms up and becomes incredibly devoted. Their future family should be prepared for these quirks and appreciate their strong bond with humans. They also tend to experience some anxiety when separated but have shown improvement in foster care, learning that their person will always return.
