About Pogo
Meet Pogo — a remarkable three-legged Husky with one huge heart. Weighing in at 38 pounds, this handsome boy sports striking blue eyes. Rescued from the streets, Pogo came to us with a shocking collar embedded in his neck, leaving him with only part of one leg. After healing from his neck wounds and undergoing surgery to amputate the damaged limb, Pogo's spirit remains unbroken. Against all odds, Pogo embodies joy and friendliness. He adores adults, children, cats, and other dogs alike. Estimated to be around 1-2 years old, he shows no signs of slowing down despite his three legs. He runs, plays, and jumps just like any other dog. Pogo is making progress with house training, but his new family will need to help him adjust to a new routine with consistent reinforcement. As with many Huskies, Pogo is intelligent and active, often expressing his opinions quite vocally. He’s not a fan of being crated, so his adopter should help him feel secure when left alone. Pogo deserves a committed family who understands that adopting a dog means providing lifelong love and care. He requires daily exercise, mental stimulation, and proper nutrition, along with routine veterinary care and grooming. Pogo’s ability to survive unimaginable neglect without losing his joy for life is truly inspiring. He’s ready to find the loving forever home he missed out on. Adopting Pogo means gaining a deeply affectionate companion and a best friend for life. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
