Terrapin is a lively 2.5-month-old female Pyrenees mix, weighing around 15 pounds. As a playful and affectionate puppy, she’s eager for attention and loves to be close to her people. She’s still learning the ropes; while not yet housebroken, she makes efforts and has been crate-trained successfully. Terrapin has high energy typical of puppies and enjoys exploring her surroundings. She does well in the car but needs guidance on the leash, as she sees it as a barrier to her adventurous spirit. She’s sociable with other dogs and should thrive in a home with one, though it’s not a necessity. Terrapin also gets along with cats, but household felines should be dog-friendly and tolerant of her playful antics. While she hasn't been around children, supervised introductions are essential; we recommend a home without very young kids to keep everyone safe. As she grows, Terrapin will need continued vaccinations and a spay appointment before the end of 2026. Her future adopters should be within an hour of Delaware and understand the importance of complying with these medical requirements. This little cutie is still figuring out her toys but adores belly rubs and food is her best motivator. She will need daily brushing to maintain her coat as she matures.
