About Kiara

Kiara is a 1-year-old mixed breed who came to us with a group of 11 other dogs after they were abandoned in a field. Each of these dogs had to learn to trust humans again, and Kiara has shown remarkable resilience. She stands out as one of the more outgoing adult females. While she’s still learning the ropes—like walking on a leash—her capacity for love and sweetness is already evident. Kiara eagerly approaches people, ready to share kisses and affection. Once she feels comfortable, you’ll find her wanting to snuggle close and receive petting. Given her gentle nature, Kiara would thrive with a fellow dog companion in her new home. Kiara’s adoption fee of $150 covers the cost of her spay, vaccinations, and care during her stay at the Clay County Humane Society. She has completed her Lyme disease treatment and is currently in heartworm treatment. If you're looking for a loyal and loving companion, Kiara could be the perfect match for you.
