About Oscar
Oscar is a sweet senior cat looking for a patient and understanding forever home. He arrived with some medical needs that his future family should be prepared for. Although he has some challenges, Oscar is eager to share his affection. Diagnosed with uveitis, Oscar experiences inflammation in his eyes. He’s currently on antibiotics and steroids, but there's been little improvement in his vision. While he does have some sight, it might be limited, and a veterinary ophthalmologist could provide additional insights and care. Additionally, Oscar may have arthritis, which makes him sensitive when his hind-end is touched. He has shown some relief with gabapentin for pain management. Though he's cautious about being picked up, he enjoys gentle petting along his back. Oscar needs a family that can appreciate his limitations and continue his medical care while allowing him to adjust at his own pace.
