His playful nature rivals that of a Golden Retriever; he’s both affectionate and a bit timid around newcomers. Sometimes, he doesn’t realize how big he is while playing with smaller companions, but he always shows his gentle side, showering both animals and humans with kisses. Franklin loves to engage in playful antics, like making biscuits on throw blankets and pouncing on string toys. His social personality thrives with the company of others, and he has formed friendships with both a 9-year-old boxer and a 1-year-old cat in his foster home. To keep him happy, he’ll need opportunities for climbing and plenty of space to play.
