About Mama Poppi
Mama Poppi is ready to embrace her new life after spending years caring for others. She was found on a family farm while pregnant and later surrendered with her five puppies. Now, it's time for her to be the focus. As she adjusts to a loving environment, Mama Poppi is still discovering that humans can be trusted. She needs a patient adopter who understands that she’ll require time to come out of her shell. Every day, she becomes more courageous, especially when it comes to belly rubs. She enjoys neighborhood strolls and is a dream on the leash. While she's still getting acclimated to new folks and other animals, a little bit of love and time will help Mama Poppi transition from motherhood to the pampered life she deserves. She's currently in a foster home in Chattanooga, TN, and is eligible for our foster-to-adopt program within two hours of this city, making it easier for you to see if she’s the right fit. Unfortunately, we cannot adopt to residents of Massachusetts at this time. Start your journey with Mama Poppi and see how she flourishes in a loving home. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
