Liko has a heart-wrenching story that makes you wish you could rewrite her past. Nearly two years ago, she faced unimaginable cruelty as a tiny puppy, along with her mother and siblings. After surviving a horrific attempt on their lives, Liko was thankfully rescued and went through the journey of learning to trust again. She found a loving home, but now through no fault of her own, she is back with us, seeking a family to finally call her own. Though she can be a little shy around new people, once Liko decides you are safe, she becomes a loyal friend. This delightful dog loves to be by your side, whether on walks or nestled up next to you after a day of adventures. Liko is both crate and potty trained, and she’s smart, knowing commands like sit, stay, down, and place. She thrives on structure and enjoys sunny patches in the yard, where she can lounge happily. Her playful side shines through her goofy antics, earning her the affectionate nickname "Mayhem" from her foster family. For her ideal home, Liko would prefer to be the only dog, as she thrives when not having to share her loved ones.
