About Igor
Igor has every reason to be afraid of people, yet all he craves is love. He entered our care after being run over by a car, leaving him with a broken leg and a severely injured tail. While his leg has healed beautifully, his tail couldn’t be saved and had to be amputated. Now, he sports the cutest little bobtail, a testament to his resilience. You’d never guess his past just by meeting him. Igor is incredibly sweet, playful, and affectionate. He revels in playtime, joyfully engaging with everything he missed while healing. More than anything, he yearns for companionship and closeness with his humans. A true cuddle bug, he seeks out warmth and gentle hands, demonstrating a trust that speaks volumes about his character. Despite his injuries changing his appearance, they haven’t affected his spirit. Igor’s leg is fully healed, and his charming bobtail only adds to his endearing nature. After surviving something that could have taken his life, he’s now ready for a future where he knows he’s loved and safe. Igor is currently in a foster home in Chattanooga, TN, and is available for transport across the continental U.S. Note that we cannot adopt to Massachusetts residents. What are you waiting for?
