About Tantor
Meet Tantor, an extraordinary cat with a vibrant personality and a heart full of love. His days revolve around three simple pleasures: napping, enjoying meals, and playfully batting around his favorite string wand. After a lively play session, you'll find him sprawled out like a little "dead bug," legs and arms in the air, showcasing his charming quirks. Tantor thrives best as the one and only cat in the family, as he craves all the attention he can get from his humans. He has developed deep bonds with those who care for him. At 15 years old, he mainly eats wet food, given his dental issues, though he nibbles on some crunchies too. His journey to this safe haven was quite miraculous; firefighters found him unconscious in the basement of a house after a fire devastated the main level. With a little oxygen and a lot of spirit, he bounced back to life. Now, he dreams of a loving home where he can bask in cozy naps, munch on delicious meals, and enjoy playtime with humans he adores. Though Tantor walks a bit crooked due to arthritis, it doesn’t hinder his zest for life. He has undergone dental care, has had comprehensive senior bloodwork, and prefers a home with fewer stairs. He enjoys a renal wet and dry food diet and takes gabapentin for comfort. He truly needs a family that will pamper him and offer a warm, nurturing environment.
