About Dobby

Dobby is a 5-year-old, independent companion who's ready to find his forever home. This curious and playful cat thrives on interactive play, especially when it involves stalking toys or chasing wand toys tucked beneath a blanket. That's just the start of his lively personality. When not engaging in play, Dobby can be seen observing the world outside, exploring his surroundings, or finding the ideal cozy spot to relax. He enjoys being part of the action without necessarily needing constant attention. He likes to supervise household activities and is particularly food motivated, ready to help out whenever he can. This active guy, with a moderate to moderately high energy level, is looking for a home where he can explore and play. He would thrive in a space that offers interactive playtime and climbing opportunities while allowing him the independence he cherishes. Dobby has shown that he can interact positively with other cats but might prefer being the sole cat, or at least have careful introductions if there’s another feline companion in the home. He is a cat that needs adopters who appreciate an independent spirit, paying attention to his cues and allowing him to dictate the pace of interactions. Dobby is learning to trust, and gentle approaches help him feel secure. He’s not the typical lap cat; instead, he prefers to be nearby, supervising and enjoying the presence of his people. Dobby is excited to add a little charm to your family this fall! Click apply to start the adoption process.
