While he is a senior cat and has been socialized well with other cats, he does not get along with dogs or young children. Located in New Bedford, MA, Linden is ready to find a soulmate.
About Linden
Linden, with his striking black coat adorned with white-tipped hairs, truly resembles a walking constellation. Originally a TNR case, he appeared quite fearful in his cage, and we weren't sure he’d be suitable for adoption. However, a breakthrough came when he started to approach our volunteers, allowing them to pet his forehead, showcasing remarkable behavioral improvement. Once Linden joined the general population, it became clear he was craving affection. At first, he would enthusiastically seek attention from the volunteers, but over time, he learned to approach more gently, now waiting patiently for his turn to be loved. This transformation is nothing short of impressive; it's like he earned a degree in human interaction. Linden enjoys the company of other cats and knows how to coexist with them. However, he's not fond of dogs, making a dog-free home the best fit for him. We also recommend homes without young children, as we can't fully guarantee he’s left behind the behaviors he picked up while living on the streets. This black king deserves a loving home where he can continue his journey in learning to love humans.
