Meet Venus, a resilient pocket pitbull who has overcome tremendous challenges. Her journey began in a hospital, where she received critical care for broken ribs believed to be caused by abuse. It's heart-wrenching to think she may have been a bait dog in the cruel world of dog fighting. Now, Venus is ready for a loving home. This 2-year-old darling might be small, around 35 pounds, but her heart is anything but. With her soft tan fur and adorably short legs, she’s the perfect companion for snuggling. While she may need to gain a few extra pounds, she will always remain her compact self. Venus thrives on human companionship and will do best in a home as the only pet.
